We went to Mount Carmel school and did a presentation about what Alpha does and about my life. We talked with the students about different disabilities and how they can make friends with them. It was also hands on activities like walk the line with goggles with petroleum jelly and binoculars so they would know how it is to be visually impaired. We also had them string fruit loops with gloves on. 
Then we had an activity to do with dyslexia. Then we had questions from the students about what we had taught them. I also think that they learned a lot from all the planed activities. I like talking about my work at Alpha and about my life and what I am doing now. I love all aspects of my life and all the people that love and support me. I want the students to learn that I am a person just like them and I have hopes and dreams to have a productive life.
